Hotels with the best locations — every one puts you within easy reach of the places in this guide. There are also plenty of Airbnbs, many of them renovated — consider that option within the areas I recommend: Sololaki for beautiful interiors with famous stairs, Vera or Vake with plenty of Airbnbs to feel truly like a local, and Old Town, of course — more touristy, but walkable to everything.
